Shop Miss A Haul!

Hello and Salaams!

Whew! It’s been a HOT MINUTE! I have been focusing mainly on my YouTube Channel over the past few months and only recently thought to come back to my blog to share my treasures.

Anyway, with this post I’ll be sharing what goodies that were in store when I got my package from the Shop Miss A site, where everything is 1 dollar (unless stated otherwise).

If you keep scrolling down, you’ll find the items that I picked from the site but if you are looking for swatches, you’ll have to scoot over to my YouTube Channel.

Let the scrolling commence!

These are so matte. They go on glossy and dry super matte. I had a hard time trying to take these off after swatching.

I’m not a false lashes kind of girl but I do like to play around with them from time to time.

These lippies are far from sheer, they are very  pigmented and are very beautiful.

I love the color black, so I thought to pick up a black lipstick. This one is very creamy and a classic L.A. Colors lipstick.

This one is a loose mineral eyeshadow. I don’t have a swatch on here but you can check out my Instagram for it. It’s a very light pink shade and can get messy if you are not careful with moving it around.

Absolutely LOVE these Madly Matte lippies from Kleancolor! The top one is call “Cinnamon” and the bottom (which is my favorite) is called “Caramel”. They go on glossy but have a matte finish when dry.

A Santee eyeshadow stick! It doesn’t have a name other than the number “8” on the side of it. It’s a deep, cranberry color and it’s so beautiful.

AOA Studio brush set of 10. This whole set is 10 dollars.Love the strings to tie the pouch with.

This is what it looks like when opened.

Here you get 5 eye sculpting brushes and 5 face sculpting brushes. There are numbers on the handles to identify them as well. I haven’t used these yet because I wanted to wait to share them here and on my other social media accounts.

Well, that’s all that I have for today! I’m going to try to post on here once a week. I share on Instagram quite often so if you follow me on there, chances are you will see most of my things before I share it on here.

If you are interested, go ahead and scoot on over to my YouTube Channel. That is my main focus for now but I do plan to make more regular posts here and on my CynnBadd Blogz page as well.

Until next time! 😉

Shop Miss A Stuffs! (y’all already know;))

Hello and Salaam, homies!

I’m sure that by the title and the featured picture, you already know what time it is! It’s a Miss A haul, y’all (it rhymes, so it has to be good right?) 🙂

A little bit ago (like, 3 weeks ago) I ordered some stuffs and I’m finally getting around to showing y’all what I got, you know, just to give you some insight of the things that they have at the site.

In case you didn’t know, Shop Miss A is a site where everything is only $1. Yeah, I know, that’s crazy. They have a whole lot of stuff that you can throw into your cart without feeling guilty about overspending. And if you manage to throw 30 items into your cart, you get free shipping! Now, I know my ladies from overseas are curious if they ship to their country and as far as I know they ship to Canada, Australia and Brazil but I encourage you to double check yourself to make sure.

Aight, let’s get into the stuffs!

They have a bunch of different face masks to pick from and I thought that these would be nice, since I’m so old (notice the collagen ones). >_<

I also picked up these head pieces cuz ya know that ya girl needs some bling in her life! 😉

THIS piece right here! It’s actually kinda heavy which is surprising but let’s take a look inside shall we? NEXT!

This is what the inside of that Alpha Girl palette looks like. You got your shadows, your brow powders and an applicator. That’s a lot for $1! 😀 There is also a mirror.

These are the lippies that I picked. I did do swatches but I did them on a video…I think. The first one is super light and has a bit of color but not too much. The next 2 are cuh-raazy matte! Like, I did some swatches and I literally could not get these off my hand. Make sure to wear a chapstick of some sort underneath these cuz, dang! The 4th one is a nude lipppe (ya girl loves some nude lippies!) by Amuse. Smooth and beautiful shade. Make sure to accompany that with a brown lip liner if you are on the deeper side of the skin tone area. The avocado lippie is just a simple lip gloss that can be paired with lipstick or you can wear alone. Lastly is a dark lippie from L.A. Colors (obv). Just a deep dark color that is a little bit sheer. (Scroll down for swatches and names. The matte lippies don’t have a name on them).

These 3 pieces are cute lil’ doodads that saw and liked. The pink crown is a dust plug for a cell phone or tablet and the 2 other pieces are faux ear plugs.

I thought that these eyeshadow palettes were too cute! I love the little bow tie one. ^_^

These are very pigmented and smooth eyeshadows. I’m especially love that orangy side on the bow tie palette. That one comes with an applicator as well.

Next are these sunglasses! Ya girl needs some shade for her face cuz that sun be ALL up in it! They have a lot of different ones to pick from too. >_<

These are obvious. They are hair elastics or ponytail holders, whatever you want to call them. That’s a lot for $1.

I really like the kleancolor brushes, especially this one. Perfect for applying a winged gel eye liner.

I did buy some eye liners and pencils but I don’t have a picture of them (go figure) but I do however, have some swatches. The very top is a dark brown by Princessa, the 2nd one is golden bronze also by Princessa. The 3rd one down is an eyeliner in the color gray. I’m not sure who that one is from, didn’t say on the stick. The 4th one down is olive green. Next is pink. The pink one is a bit clumpy which makes me wonder if it’s old or that’s just the way it’s made. I think that I might add a few drops of Visine and maybe that might help make the liner a bit more smoother. After the pink one we have a blue color and the very last one is a creamy kajal eyeliner in a charcoal color. The gray, olive green and blue liners dry super fast.

Okay y’all, I did do a swatch of all the lippies…haha, I was playing. >_< The 1st one is by L.A. Colors and that is called “Matte Fudge”. Again beautiful deep, dark color. Next swatch is by Amuse and that is called “Latte”. Gorgeous, creamy nude lipstick. The 3rd swatch down is by Starry and is the avocado oil lippie. It’s a bit sheer because it’s a moisturizing lip gloss. The 4th one down is the Kleancolor lipstick. That’s the one that I mentioned before that has a little bit of color but is sheer at the same time. The last 2 are by Santee and it’s a long lasting matte liquid lipstick. Seriously, this stuff will last and last and last. Make sure that you pull out your moisturizing chapstick before applying these 2. Trust me!

If you made is this far, you made it to the end. Oh, I know, it’s a sad thing but I promise to come back next week to bring you some more interesting stuffs. That is if you are interested in reading it. Also, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for weekly videos! And if you are still looking for more, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram (@cynnbadd27). I gots a Facebook page too. If you wanna give that a like, do it up!

Until next time! 😉

Shop Miss A Haul

Hello and Salaams! If you couldn’t already tell, I have for you the reader, a peek at the Shop Miss A haul that I was talking about last week. And again, if you don’t know, everything there is 1 dollar excluding some of the charms which are 5 dollars or lower. This month they are having a promo of free shipping with orders over 30 dollars. The shipping isn’t too much, it’s only 3.95 here in the U.S and I believe 5.95 for international but don’t quote me on that one.

Down below are a whole bunch of pictures that I had taken of the swatches of the eyeshadows, lip liners, eyeliners, lippies, all of that. So, if you’re interested, keep scrolling and have a look-see! 🙂

This is there oh-so-obvious orange shipping bag. They ship via U.S.P.S and you also get a tracking number for your package.

Here is a group shot of everything that I ordered. I absolutely LOVE that “BOSS” beenie! ^_^

A simple black beenie with rhinestone on it. Super cute!

These are eyeshadow pencils that are by Santee. They didn’t give and name or a specific color, just numbers.

I did a couple swatches and took the picture with a flash so that you could see it better. The blue one kinda reminds me of a Periwinkle color and the other color is more like a Nude. Both go on super smooth.

This is by Malibu Glitz and the name of this one is “Wakiki Pearl”. It’s a beautiful white with a bit of glitter in it.

“Wakiki Pearl” without a flash…

…”Wakiki Pearl” with flash.

These are all the Klean Color items. The very top are liquid eyeliners with their own auto eyeliner build in. A duo if you will. Below that are the jumbo eyeshadow sticks. Under that are the cream shadows. The stick below the cream shadows is a lip liner. To the top right is a hydrating lippie and the last 4 are just plain ‘ol lipsticks.

These are the Klean Color eyeshadow cream pots. They glide on beautifully, have a a shimmer to them and are quite creamy which makes for an easy application.

The colors go from left to right, “Turquoise”, “Fuchsia”, “Thunder”, “Lilac” and “Skyline”.

Here we have the Klean Color jumbo eyeshadow stick. These colors are super pigmented and bright. Especially perfect if you are trying to make a bold statement.

The colors are as listed from left to right: “Frosted Ruby”, “Citron”, “Fuchsia Kiss” and “Fire Glow”. I like Fire Glow the best out of the bunch.

Klean Color lip pencil. This particular on come with a pencil sharpener.

With a flash you can see it better. Also this is the color “Champagne”.

I really like these items. They are liquid eyeliners with an auto eyeliner. Make sense? On one side there is the liquid part and the other side (handle) has the eyeliner pencil part that you can twist up and down.

The colors for these are (from left to right in pairs) are “Gold”, “Teal” and “Green-Vibe”. The Teal eyeliner has a felt tip while the other two have more a brush type tip. These are a great idea except the pencil bit breaks too easily which means that you may not have the chance to use it or it will break while in use.

The plain ‘ol lippies that I was talking about earlier.

You can really see the vibrancy better with the flash on. These go on super smooth, they’re nice and creamy and smell good too. Shades are (from top to bottom) “Coco Malt”, “Natural”, “Earth” and “Holiday Red”.

This one is a winner! It adds the perfect amount of color to your lips without being over bearing and has a gold shimmer to it.

This hydrating lippie is in the color “Copper Red”.

Elf quads. Very nice for a more casual look.

With a flash, this quad is called “Butternut”. For my skin tone, this will make a super chill look without over doing it.

“Butternut” quad with out the flash. You can barely see it.

This quad is called “Pretty In Pink” and that is a very fitting title. Soft colors make for a soft and easy-to-do look.

“Pretty In Pink” without the flash.

L.A. Colors has really stepped up their makeup game since I was in high school (over 10 years ago, *cough cough*). 😉

This is a lipstick that I bought before but in a different shade. There are 3 different colors in 1 stick, so a 3-in-1 lippe.

No flash. This is the color “Third Time’s A Charm”. Love the idea of getting 3 in 1 stick.

When it comes to L.A. Colors eyeshadows, I remember not being very pigmented or maybe I was just to dark, idk. But I’m impressed with the improvement that this company has made in their products. This by the way is the eyeshadow palette that was shown above.

And the palette without the flash. This comes in the color “Orchid”.

And lastly we have the the lip liners. I always liked L.A. Colors lip liners as they are good quality for the low price. Going from top to bottom we have the colors “Chocolate”, “Hazelnut”, “Coper Bronze” and “Nude” which totally proves itself considering you can barely see “Nude” on my hand, haha. PERFECT!

That’s it! I hope that you have enjoyed this extremely long blog post! Again, if you haven’t tried out Shop Miss A, give it a try, you may like it.

Stay tuned for next weeks post of Novembers Boxy Charm! 🙂

Shop Miss A Haul! ^_^

Hello to all you wonder and amazing people out there! 😀

Today…err, tonight, I wanted to show you some goodies that I got from Shop Miss A. If you don’t know yet, it’s an awesome place to get everything for 1 dollar. Yeah, crazy, right? But it’s true thoooo! Anyways, as usual, this is mostly pictures of what I got so I hope that you’re ready to take a gander! Don’t worry, I’ll have my thoughts of all things listed with a link to the product.

This is a cute necklace that I saw on their site. Thought that it would be nice for my mother and I to share.

This is a cute necklace that I saw on their site. Thought that it would be nice for my mother and I to share. You can get that here: Mother & Daughter Necklace

This is a concealer stick by Kleancolor called “White Lies”. I’m not too sure about this since it appears to have a very orange undertone to it. I’ll try it out to see how it works anyways. Check it out here: White Lies Concealer Stick

This here is a pressed compact powder foundation in the shade “Dark Almond” by Kleancolor. I did a swatch of this on my hand and it was very light, I think a little too light for my complexion. But it’s very soft, comes with a mirror and a sponge that you can use. It probably would be good for a setting powder for a highlight which you can get here: Fresh Answer in Dark Almond

Lovely falsies from Kleancolor again. I believe that these are bottom lash falsies as they appear to be too small for the top lid but I’m sure that they can be used to either or. Take a look: Angelic Wink

This foundation is in the shade”Toast”. The product is creamy but I don’t think that this will do too well in the areas that one has creasing and wrinkles. This is also way to light for me so I won’t be using it for a foundation but for a highlighter instead. You can see it here: Amuse Flawless Foundation

Another foundation, another fail. Again, this is too light for me so I will be using it for a highlight. This one has a pump and it’s in a tube so it feels kind of odd trying to get the product out while you’re also squeezing the tube. My goodness! I don’t think that I’ll have to buy highlights for a long time! Have a look-see here: True Self in “Honey”

I absolutely LOVE this color! This is a beautiful gray eye shadow crayon pencil by Santee that goes on matte. Kind of has a bit of blue undertone to it whic reminds me of the color Periwinkle. I think that it would look wonderful on a smoky eye look. Santee Color My Eyes

This is called Summer Glow by Amuse and it’s a body and face bronzer. I think that this will be great for the winter time since I tend to get a little pale (yes, me!). I did a swatch and its a beautiful shimmery copper on the left and soft gold on the right. Unfortunately, it’s not available for purchase but you can browse the other items that they have: Bronzer

If you want to get a flawless look, you have to make sure that you color correct and conceal. This particular item is a concealer palette. I did do a swatch of this on my hand and they feel nice and creamy except for the white one in the middle. That one feels too waxy. But you can have a look here: Concealer Palette

I really like the idea of this lipsticks. There are 3 colors so you can use the same lipstick and get something different every time! I actually have 2, one it the color “Trilogy” and the other in the color “Neapolitan” but I couldn’t find the picture for it. :/ They are also sold out of these as well but you can take a look at the other selections here: L.A. Colors Lippies

A foundation brush that I found while browsing. I needed another one so I thought that this was a good time to take the opportunity to get one 🙂 They are sold out of this as well but here is a link to check out there other tools: Kleancolor Tools

Another brush from Kleancolor, this time it’s an angled brush. Perfect for getting those eyebrows on point, honey! 😉 Kleancolor Angled Brush

My second bronzer that is basically the exact same shade as my own skin. It’s very light and might make a good concealer. RAWR

And finally to the last item! This is a L.A. Color jumbo eyeshadow pencil and it has a beautiful deep purple color, like an eggplant with what looks like a metallic/shimmery aspect to it. OMG, this color is super gorgeous! Tropical bliss

That’s everything that I got! You can browse and shop by clicking here: ShopMissA. My overall opinion of this site is that it’s a really great place to get your accessories for cheap and not worry about breaking the bank on something. The shipping is only 3.95 in the U.S. The only thing that I wish that they could do is get their hands on some deep, darker shades of foundation for females that are darker complected, such as myself. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to find something that is the same shade as me as most drug, grocery stores don’t cater to women of colors. BUT none the less, I absolutely love this site and will be returning often and hope that you will try it out too if you haven’t yet. 🙂
