Shop Miss A Haul!

Hello and Salaams!

Whew! It’s been a HOT MINUTE! I have been focusing mainly on my YouTube Channel over the past few months and only recently thought to come back to my blog to share my treasures.

Anyway, with this post I’ll be sharing what goodies that were in store when I got my package from the Shop Miss A site, where everything is 1 dollar (unless stated otherwise).

If you keep scrolling down, you’ll find the items that I picked from the site but if you are looking for swatches, you’ll have to scoot over to my YouTube Channel.

Let the scrolling commence!

These are so matte. They go on glossy and dry super matte. I had a hard time trying to take these off after swatching.

I’m not a false lashes kind of girl but I do like to play around with them from time to time.

These lippies are far from sheer, they are very  pigmented and are very beautiful.

I love the color black, so I thought to pick up a black lipstick. This one is very creamy and a classic L.A. Colors lipstick.

This one is a loose mineral eyeshadow. I don’t have a swatch on here but you can check out my Instagram for it. It’s a very light pink shade and can get messy if you are not careful with moving it around.

Absolutely LOVE these Madly Matte lippies from Kleancolor! The top one is call “Cinnamon” and the bottom (which is my favorite) is called “Caramel”. They go on glossy but have a matte finish when dry.

A Santee eyeshadow stick! It doesn’t have a name other than the number “8” on the side of it. It’s a deep, cranberry color and it’s so beautiful.

AOA Studio brush set of 10. This whole set is 10 dollars.Love the strings to tie the pouch with.

This is what it looks like when opened.

Here you get 5 eye sculpting brushes and 5 face sculpting brushes. There are numbers on the handles to identify them as well. I haven’t used these yet because I wanted to wait to share them here and on my other social media accounts.

Well, that’s all that I have for today! I’m going to try to post on here once a week. I share on Instagram quite often so if you follow me on there, chances are you will see most of my things before I share it on here.

If you are interested, go ahead and scoot on over to my YouTube Channel. That is my main focus for now but I do plan to make more regular posts here and on my CynnBadd Blogz page as well.

Until next time! 😉

March Boxy Charm!

Hello and Salaams you gorgeous candy drops out there!

How you doin’? Me? I’m totally swell and today I have a for you, the reader, viewer, whatever you want to be called, a show and tell of what I got in this months Boxy Charm.

Now usually I post this every month but last month I seem to have forgotten about it. I kinda had a lot going on, so please forgive me. 😦

Anyways, as the title says, this is the Boxy Charm box for the month of March, so enough with the chit-chat, let get it innnn! 😀

Above we have 3 pictures. The first is from Makeup Geek in the colors “shimma shimma” and “frappe“. These are really just refills that you can place in a magnetic pan that you can customize yourself. The second is the name of the product on the back and the last are just a couple swatches on my hand. The top is “frappe” and the bottom is “shimma shimma“. You can find them on their site for $6 a pop. 🙂

Next we have a eye brow pencil from Chella. This is in the color “tantalizing taupe“. It’s a beautiful dark brown color that should be perfect for my dark brows. The swatch is the dark line on my hand (next to shimma shimma). You can get this for $18 off of their site.

I love getting any kind of brushes from companies. The only thing that sucks is when I have to clean them all. -_- Above is a Luxie Beauty 512 contouring brushThese sell for $16 on their site. It’s soft and this one is smaller than a regular contouring brush to help get that face slayed, yaaasss!

And lastly we have a couple of bottles! The sideways, wonky picture is a travel size perfume by the beautiful Catherine Malandrino and it’s called “Style De Paris“. It literally smells like spring and will last for quite some time. You can get the full size for $65 on Amazon. Next bottle is by Clark’s Botanicals and it’s a anti-puff eye cream (in case you can’t see what it says). I’ve read that some females that were using this product starting to have burning sensation under their eyes but you should have a barrier before using this product. You can use a thin layer of lotion or another eye cream that doesn’t burn or irritate the skin before using this one. Don’t hurt yourselves ladies…;)

And that’s all me got for this post. Be sure to stick around for later post and head over to my Facebook and Instagram pages to keep in touch!

Until next time! 🙂

My 5 Favorite Drug Store Foundations! ^_^

Hello and Salaam gorgeous creatures!

Today’s topic…drug store foundations! I have a list of 5 drug store foundations (if you couldn’t tell from the title) that I’ve grown a little fond of. These are affordable, easy to get and for people of my skin tone, easy access. Although, I do feel that there should be more shades than what is in the stores. For women that are very fair or on the deep side of skin tone chart, it becomes quite a quest to find a drug store foundation in their shade so a lot of them shop only in the high end department, which can be expensive. :/

I’m a HUGE Maybelline fan but I had recently crossed the line into L’Oreal foundations. I have oily/normal skin and usually where it’s oily the most is the t-zone area and my cheeks, especially when wearing makeup.

Of course this will be short and sweet, just keep scrolling down. 🙂

When it comes to foundation, I’m always on the lookout for the “holy grail” of foundations.

Above are 5 of my favorite foundations that I either got from Wal*Mart, CVS or Rite Aid. With everything, there are pros and cons. For these being drug store foundations, you kinda get what you pay for. It’s not going to last all day but I usually get through about 8 hours of wear with these…if I manage to do it right.

This picture is without a flash just to show you the texture of the foundations.

  • Maybelline Dream Velvet (Caramel 92): This foundation is quite thick. I tried to blend this out with just a damp beauty blender but it wasn’t having it. I couldn’t get it to spread the way that I wanted it to and it dried fast. I think the best way to use this foundation is to use a dense, flat tip brush and blend in circles. It’s about 3-4 hours before I have to blot my face.
  • Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse (Caramel Dark 2): This foundation isn’t as thick as the previous one. It’s a little more liquidy so it has more give. From my own personal experience with this I feel that it can be blended out with both a sponge and a brush. It doesn’t dry as fast as the Dream Velvet does so you have more time to work with it. For this one it’s about 3 hours before I have to blot.
  • Maybelline Fit Me (Cappuccino 340): I love, love, LOVE the heck out of this foundation! BUT I think that this one is too … orangey. I used to have the one for normal skin but ya girls face like to act up and shine too much. I was thinking if I mix this one with one that is one shade lighter, it might be bomb. It’s pretty thin so it can be blended with a sponge or brush. I prefer a sponge, personally. Idk. Blot time is about 3 hours again.
  • L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte (Soft Sable 111): I don’t know you guys, I don’t know…recently, I’ve been loving L’Oreal products. Normally I’m a Maybelline chick but I’m starting to lean towards L’oreal, for the time being anyways. This matte foundation is super matte. Like, don’t it fool you because it’s not high end. This kept my face matte for about 4-5 hours before blotting, no joke! It’s amazing! This is a thin foundation that can be blended with a sponge.
  • L’Oreal True Match (Creme Cafe W8): This last one is my ultimate favorite out of the bunch. I think that I might have to get another one because this is my go-to foundation. It has a thin consistency so blending with a sponge is easy and no problem. And if I use this with the NYX Shine Killer and L’Oreal Infallible Matte Finishing Spray, it’ll last for hours. Seriously. I was so impressed at the result of using this together. I didn’t have to blot for almost 5-6 hours. By the time the 8th hour came I didn’t want to take the makeup off because of how good it still looked. Definitely 5 out of 5 for this one!

Here is the same picture but with a flash.

That is all that I have to today! Make sure comment what your favorite drug store foundation is, I wanna know! 🙂

Until next time! 😀

It’s My StingRAYE

Hello and Salaams everyone!

Today I thought I’d bring to you the “StingRAYE” collection from ColourPop Cosmetics. This collection collabo comes from the very beautiful, very popular YouTuber ItsMyRayeRaye (Raye Boyce). Her and ColourPop teamed up together to bring us these gorgeous lippies that we can wear and be fabulous and confident in! In this particular collection there are 3 separate products; StingRAYE, which is a ultra matte liquid lippie, RAYEzor, that is a creamy matte lippie and RAYEzor Pencil which is a lip liner (obv, lol).

StingRAYE is a beautiful, super matte liquid lipstick. The color is flattering on any skin tone or shade. You can buy them individually or all together. I’ll leave prices and links underneath the pictures. 🙂

Simple picture of the StingRAYE collection. This was really a last minute buy. I had planned on buying these lippies but I didn’t plan on buying as soon as I did. StingRAYE  Collection.

Here we have the RAYEzor pencil. It’s a beautiful peachy nude color and pairs well with the RAYEzor lippie. You can get this for $5.00. RAYEzor Lippie Pencil.

Here we have the matte RAYEzor lippie. This color is also on the nude side with a bit of a light, peachy tone as well. You can get this for also $5.00. RAYEzor Lippie Stix.

And lastly we have the ultra matte StingRAYE liquid lippie. Now, I have to warn you, this is a very, very liquid lippie so use caution when opening it. When I first opened this I ended up getting it all over myself. With that out of the way, it’s a lovely mauvy-brownish color that dries fast and stay put. Absolutely love this one! You can get this for $6.00. StingRAYE Ultra Matte Lipp

Here are some swatches of the products. I love how its very cool toned and very nude (which I’m obsessing over lately). Gorgeous shade for any one!

That’s all from the StingRAYE collection! 🙂 As far as I know and from that the site says they ship to these countries “USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, and APO’s“. I got my products in via USPS but I’m not sure if it’s the same for shipping outside of the states. If you are looking to buy, it’s best to double check yourself in case I might have misquoted. You can read their FAQ’s here.

Remember, the links to the different products are underneath the product descriptions above!

I reckin’ that’s it for now! I hope that you have enjoyed this short post!

Until next time! 😀
